I don't make money from the app but I get to help others that do and they're who I'm worried about. If that's "being a baby" then I'm cool with that. There's no debating with someone who doesn't even have an informed opinion.

Exactly! I see that a lot from people who never used it. They have no idea about the communities built or the people helped through TikTok.

I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that members of Congress own stock in Meta. This has nothing to do with data, it's about money and control. Even Tom Cotton said China could radicalize us to rise up against our government. When we do, it won't be because of China.

All any of you are doing is proving that Freedom in the US is an illusion. Of all the issues in this country like poverty, school shootings, healthcare... the most important issue is banning an app? Are we supposed to ignore that members of Congress own stock in Meta and lose money if we leave?

I'm 47 and I love TikTok. I was able to support people's small businesses, their mental health, encourage people recovering from addiction and build an algorithm that was filled with love and respect. Perhaps, you should have engaged in more meaningful content.

If that's the content you were seeing, that's on you. You were engaging with thirst traps and children. My algorithm wasn't built on that.
