If you'd asked me before these e-mails came out why Trump was blocking the Epstein files, and I was drunk enough, I'd have said he's afraid of the time he spit-roasted a teenager with Bill Clinton coming out.

There's been a lot of talk of late of touching the stove with Trump's policy.
The problem I see is, touching the stove wasn't enough in the UK.
It's going to have to be bad, and it's probably going to have to be the US, and it's going to have to be so bad the stench of burning flesh is remembered.

Fundamentally events like this are a result of how people no longer believe their votes actually affect reality.
Unfortunately, this is the issue we're now faced with.
It's not even how bad Reform's policies may be. It's the people who will campaign under that banner that could seize power.
PR isn't the cure, but it will force them out into the light.
