A majority of Dems and independents do not agree with trans athletes playing on teams of their identified gender (gallop 2023). Unless you think majority of each group are fascists, then yes.. that cohort exists.

There is simply a large cohort of people who respect trans people, want to protect their rights, but are not comfortable with high level sports. This does not make them nazi sympathizers. Dems may need to acknowledge this position to win future elections, (and beat the real fascists).

I think you underestimate how pervasive the Rogan style propaganda is and how large of an effect it is having on middle aged white guys. And I’m not saying they actually care about sport - I’m saying they use this issue to recruit new conservatives

My daughter is a competitive athlete, and she dedicates an unreal amount of her life to her passion. That is why so many people care about this, it’s not trivial to care about fairness. I agree with most of your points - again thanks. But it’s more than micromanaging field hockey.

Look I’m gonna peace out - thanks for genuine convo. I unfollowed also. And I know some people need community, support, and I apologize if I disrupted some folks bubble. But we also need fighters, we can’t hide. At some point people need to engage the right (and not just by calling them bigots).

For the record I disagree with many of his positions - I’m very liberal. But I follow conservatives, I think it’s wise to understand your enemies beyond dimpling saying “fuck you bigot” when encountering slight disagreement. I agree with you about pre puberty athletes

Yeah let me address the Jesse thing. I follow a ton of people I don’t totally agree with. I follow many on the other place that I outright despise! I have never understood the argument that following an idiot/ horrible person means I agree with them. Do we really need echo chambers?
