I haven't had a raise in over 5 years (and AI is probably gonna take my job in the next few years). My partner hasn't had a raise in 8 years. Both of our companies are making more money than before, but aren't upping compensation for workers. Doubt it's just us.

It's more than just a library. They're building a free cultural center in a communal space that many people pass through. This is the way.

I live in Knoxville & just met a couple of ladies from Morristown tonight. They definitely didn't vote for Trump. Not all of us Southerners are conservative, nor are we all ignorant. Some of us just happen to be born here & have family we can't leave or simply can't afford to move away.

Oh my gosh! I fell in love with @johncusack.bsky.social when I was 12 years old because of this movie. Showed it to my daughters & they fell in love as well. Such a classic!

My deductible went up from $3300 to $6600 this year & the premium went up as well. My endocrinologist isn't in network anymore. Just feel ripped off & scared of injury or illness. Bought a survival book on home medical care & updated my will.

But, like, we expect it. We all know politicians are corrupt. And we don't do anything about it. Which just emboldens them to continue. Base entire campaigns on lies & we all know they are lies, but just accept it. People become politicians because they are cool with lying to get what they want.

Dude, it opened me up to music I'd never appreciated & introduced me to new genres I hadn't explored. So many of my fav songs I never forget are from Rock Band.

We have one in my town (probably more, but I know these people). They sell legal thc & delta products. They have a little bar & a seating area. My partner DJs there sometimes. Seems pretty cool, but not too many guests. Probably because of the conservative area I live in.

My partner works in the liquor industry. Since those drinks came out, they've been selling out. Adding new brands all the time. They are very popular, especially with young people.
Some just coast on energy drinks as well. I know kids of drinking age that only drink energy drinks, no weed/alcohol.
