The Reps had a story for why it’s hard for everyone these days, albeit a wrong one. All the dems had to do was admit that we’re entering neo-fuedelism with people like musk & bezos at the helm. We needed them to go after Citizens United, the military industrial complex.

can’t really blame them—getting elected requires a lot of campaign funding. Their reluctance to address Citizens United (aside from Bernie) reveals where their funding priorities lie. Even if someone genuinely wants to serve the people, it’s nearly impossible without the backing of big money.
