Ok fair enough. Not trying to be a detective but that was the point when these discussions started. Just seems odd to me that it's not mentioned.

Sorry don't believe it was but it was being 'pushed' by some organisations. That's when these sorts of discussions started. That's all.

We know this all started because of self id. Why is that part ignored? If anyone could id as a sex then that would obviously have potential for problems. Especially from men who are not trans.

I don't disagree with it or your original post really, was just pointing out that my experience of it is that it works well as a tool. Whether it is sustainable, I have my doubts, and the hyperbole of the salespeople is obviously nonsense. But it just seems strange when people say it doesn't work.

I know the basics and can see the results. Also, I'm a general 'expert
' in this area so I know it won't be perfect, and if it fails, I can reiterate.

As someone who uses AI every day, this sounds a bit odd. It enables me to do things it would have taken me months to learn. It produces good but imperfect results, but that's fine. So, I'm not sure how that is a scam?
