Ok #pathfinder folks, how does your table handle hero points? What tips and tricks do you use to get out give them?

I'm starting a new campaign and want to spice it up.

I realized today that with Call of the Wild coming out, I can play an enlightened turtle sword monk named Leonardo.

So... Who's it going to be? Which of the core 20 is going to die?
