Yes. Fuck them up.

Many may not know that the armed forces were on the forefront of opposing Trump on LGBT rights, and access to abortion.

Then there's Taft and Roosevelt.

But the first such duo was of course Adams and that slimy hypocrite Jefferson.

Obviously hasn't read The Great Gatsby

I prefer "fairness" to impartiality. But in principle I agree with you. Those banging that drum should consider the alternative, and the sad truth that small independent media don't have the deep pockets for court challenges, lawsuits, and long investigations. Public media matters.

Pay attention. Here in Canada we just dodged a bullet aimed at the CBC

One hundred years ago "white" meant northwestern European. Sadly that racist and eugenicist thinking wasn't limited to the right wing. A number of so-called progressives were right on board.

There are cheaper options. To support a level 2 charger (I got mine for $250CDN) you need is a 30 amp external plug.

I believe it about Poilievre (especially since there are alleged sources). I'd prefer to think Jeneroux just took the noble way out, unless their is evidence to the contrary. Certainly him quitting is more of a way of sealing it in blood than crossing the floor.

Wow. You'd think there would be a simpler (and less misogynist) way to drop the hint you'd like some on the side. But ministers gotta minister, I guess.

Hitler might not have come to power at all had it not been for the crash.

And the fight in the states began before the war. I like Tim Robbins' take on the attacks against the New Deal in his film Cradle Will Rock.

Would have been much more memorable had I been there the night before. Great interview - it is interesting the word "fetish" which really separates those who find it sexy from those who don't, isn't in there at all. Makes me think of Atom Egoyan's films (some of which also featuring Koteas).

Definitely an example of a movie that adds to the book in a good way. I saw it in Toronto the night after the premiere which he attended.

Wonder if it has anything to do with them purging all those useless DEI hires.
