At the Grammy Museum for the Far East Deep South documentary screening & music performance for AAPI Heritage Month. I played with the filmmakers Larissa Lam & Baldwin Chiu (Only Won) along with David Clark & JP Mourão on guitars. David also plays with Christopher Cross and JP with Keiko Matsui.

Grateful I was able to volunteer with my fellow LA Chapter Recording Academy family at the Los Angeles Outpatient Center for The Day That Music Cares. We helped set up their patient garden. LAOP does really great and necessary work in the mental health field @musicares.bsky.social

After working on set all day Monday, I finished out the night with a table read. Just for fun,during the pandemic my friend started organizing these table reads of classic films. This was “A Few Good Men”. We had a guest audience member named Xavier… it was Xavier Smith Wide Receiver 4 the LA Rams

So sad to hear of D’Wayne Wiggins’ of Tony, Toni, Tonè passing away. I first met him in the 90s with the Tonys. Our paths crossed many times over the years when I lived in Oakland.

Last night at The Venice West to support my fellow Oakland musical homie/multi Grammy winner, Fantastic Negrito. I also discovered the amazing singer songwriter, Dana Williams who opened the show with a lovely set.
