It's a shit show. In many places leadership now has the unsubtle goal of increasing personal wealth for a circle jerk of insecure sociopaths, regardless of cost to regular humans, perceived sub-humans, animals, and the planet. Illegal actions aren't failures for them, only us, they're laughing hard.
