Are you a teacher in the US? I believe you may refer to this angle rule differently. The phrasing is exactly what our students find tricky- I don’t think it’s a very good name but it’s what they need to know.

These are pairs of angles and their partner in the alternate segment

Work in progress - identify the angle in the alternate segment
Inspired by my colleague Rushni whose Year 11s were struggling to do such a thing.

There's water trapped in this train window, and here's how it sits when the train
• moved at a constant speed
• accelerated out of the station
• decelerated coming into the station
Which is which? How do you know?

Took this picture at a train station years ago and love it as a mathematical prompt.

Happy to upload this as a pdf (or send via email if you DM me) -- put together this revision dice game for Y13 further maths (core pure and FS1 ... not enough room for FM1 questions!!)

Roll two dice
Answer the question you get.

Its interesting to me that in about 3 clicks on my phone I can learn that the new pope did a maths degree and was the editor of his college yearbook (which placed 2nd in a yearbook competition)

I'm not saying I'd like this information to be more difficult to find. Just interestingly accessible.
