thought so, thanks for the reply! The devs clearly looked and how this would shake down pretty closley. It is also wild to hear that Jab true comboed into grab loool

So if neutral tech is 26 frames and we subtract 6 frames to recognize the animation, we are left with 20 frames. so 20F-23F=-3
Tech rolls should be 40F-6f=34F. Soooo
34F-23F=11

TLDR: looks like neutral tech is unreactable which means RTC can cover all but that?

The first 6 frames of all tech animation are the exact same and you can only start spotting differences on frame 7.

Given an average reaction time of 15 frames plus 1 frame of native delay, and we are doing frame 7 grab to punish we get 23 frame punish.

The frame data is universal for all characters:
Native Latency: 1-2 frames depending on hardware
Neutral tech animation is 26 frames in total
Tech roll is 40
No tech is 27 frames of nothing and then 30 frames for normal get up or 36 frames of get up roll.
The catch is, everyone is basically sheik

Tragic lol, all good though. Just did the math again and wanted to see if my math makes sense to you. You did a fantastic video about reaction tech chasing. I'm currently trying to apply it to ROAII to see if its viable. My initial answer is "no" but maybe I'm missing something here
