Apparently, I had a paper published in Russian (in 2021) which I have almost forgotten(!). It deals with the legal regulation of collective memory with special attention paid to the memory of genocides (case study: the Pontic Greek Genocide).

Victims, be them Palestinian or Ukrainian, have agency, political agendas, voices, and the imperfections inherent in human nature. To stand by them doesn't mean you need to sacralise, abstractify, or idealise them. Being immaculate isn't a precondition for self-determination.

It was a blast discussing with our young & aspiring students from AUTH's UN Society & UOM's FinClub on international economic law, violence &justice from a TWAIL perspective. The best way to start the holidays.

Very glad to be able to share my preliminary remarks on a side project I really loved working on: "Capitalism as Juridical Creed: The Uneasy Relationship of the Tangier Mixed Court with PIL". Such an exciting conference on the centenary of the TZ Statute! Congrats to all speakers and conveners
