And your point is?

It’s a privately owned company with a significant amount of their money coming from government contracts. It’s still tax payer money however you want to spin it.

Wait, do we believe that she actually thinks she’s right when she says something? Or is it all for show?

We hang onto this number as if all 90 million of those people would have voted against Trump. I am no longer so sure of this.

Also the same spineless people would just come over and be the leaders of the new party. While the Dem party sucks, all politics generally suck,

This would just be destructive. Chances are it would fracture dems even worse, and we would never have the votes to win an election. Republicans would love this.

There is and always will be right and wrong. Your wrongs aren’t any more right than other man’s wrongs. When we use rhetoric like this it allows the other side to point and say “look at those people, they are the violent ones”. We must disavow these actions. I will not be brought to their level.

Well that dinner roast potentially got us to where we are today. So… 😭

Speaking violence and ill will on people makes you just as bad as they are. There is no room for this kind of talk and mentality. Your message gets lost in words like these, and you are only pushing us back, not paving a path forward. Change can be brought through strength and leadership.

Righhhhhhtttt. So supporting the middle class also helps in bolstering companies and creating a better economy. Instead of supplying tax cuts directly to billionaires that does not increase demand for products and does not create jobs.

I think this conversation is over. You are clearly misinformed and it is not my job to educate you. I would recommend doing a bit of reading and look at some metrics to determine how well things are working here in the states. I am very fortunate to live the life that I do, but we can do better.

Usually immigrants. But go on.

People spend the money which produces profits for companies, and in turn increases demand causing the need for more jobs. I don’t think I would need to explain such a basic concept to such an economic scholar as yourself.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but your math is not supporting your argument on this one.
March 2, 2025 at 3:22 PM
I can insure you that any layoffs are not created because billionaires are having a hard time. What you are describing is called “trickle down economics” assist the rich and the benefits will make it down the ladder. It’s been proven time and time again not to work. It just shrinks middle class.

You understand how much more Trump added to the the debt than Biden correct? And if his budget and tax cuts get passed, he will again add much more than Biden did in debt. What is your disconnect to reality?

How much does AI cost? Everything, it will cost everything.

I might be speaking for myself, but I think most of us saw him having no chance winning this last time. We were wrong about the decency and common sense of our neighbors.

You can dislike his phrasing, but his point still stands. We didn’t all chose this, but as a collective we did. Other countries need to watch closely, and hopefully avoid these mistakes for themselves. Because the US is not the only country starting down this path.
