Do you not? This is a problem everywhere, to varying degrees. I avoid using the mail for anything where I might be penalized for being late because sometimes the delay before things actually go anywhere is measured in weeks. This makes it worse because you can no longer prove you tried.

See, you say that, but you're pushing the proven-losing-strategy of trying to run Diet Republicans. You're not going to get R voters to flip, you need non-voters to care. That's especially true in TN, where the districts are hilariously gerrymandered and participation is heavily discouraged.

So it sounds like you might not be familiar with how the districts are set up in TN. She did as well as anyone could have in a district created specifically to split Nashville. Ain't no one in the world getting excited to vote for a centrist democrat, and you need excitement in a place like that.

Some did and nobody believed them and nothing happened to the people responsible. I can see why others might not want to speak up after that.

When the party in power says "oh but the economy is great" and points at the stock market while you can't afford groceries, it's not doing them any favors. You can't eat the stock market.

Both have done that, so it's maybe not out of the question. What do you think is more likely?
