Also, my trenchant analysis - martial law shouldn't be so easy to declare. It feels like it's harder for me in South Korea to get a package from Amazon in the U.S. than it was for President Yoon to impose martial law.

This is definitely a trite thing to say, but we truly live in the age of billionaires. They swing elections, make or break charities, determine the fate of your professional sports club and even buy HS quarterbacks for your favorite college football team.
