Went to get my nails professionally done cause I don’t have the time to do them myself lately.
Finally someone in a professional capacity confirmed that my nails are flat as fuck and that’s why gel tips never stay on for me and she gave me hard gel instead!

Learning a language with a different alphabet/writing system has such different milestones from learning another language that uses the same alphabet as yours.
I get so excited to fully pronounce or “read” something but then when someone asks me what it SAYS I’m like 🤷🏻♀️ havent made it that far yet
