My research mainly focuses on integrating qualitative research methods into surgical research, from 1st in human to phase 3 trials.
We are keen to understand how equity, diversity, and inclusion are considered in early phase surgical studies:

❓AIM: How are modifications reported in IDEAL-cited papers?
🤯RESULTS: Only 68% of Stage 2a and 33% of Stage 2b reported ANY modifications. Within this, huge variation/inconsistencies.
