I don't know how I will ever get past a large % of this country literally cheering (and at times saying they are PRAYING for) others being harmed (in too many ways to list here). I do not and cannot understand it and don't think I ever will.

It's not just long wait lists for Medicaid. There are wait lists across the board for mental health. And the Dept. of Ed is now saying that social work is no longer a profession?? The majority of therapsists ARE social workers. Let's just imagine the impact when people no longer enter the field...

I was recently in "the housing market," trying to buy a house. It was not immigrants that outbid me on every single house I made an offer on. It was investors looking to flip or rent the house. Folks that could afford to offer/pay $100k above asking price.

You don't understand the moment; you ignored your constituents and you will bear responsibility for millions of Americans losing Healthcare and the outcomes that come from that. This vote makes me want to give up because it is clear that no one is government cares about the people.

What you got was a pinky promise from disingenuous folks who have zero intention of negotiating in good faith, who do not care about the outcome for the majority of US citizens. You HAD leverage and blew it. Beyond disappointing.
