Finally have a way to carry my basic tool set with me

The process of porting games to linux is so fucked up and delicate that in most cases where a game has a native linux port, it's almost always a better experience to run the windows version through proton - eg:
TBOI - Linux port has only half of the DLCs
Eurotruck Sim - Linux ver performs much worse

Blender shipped with an obscure internal game engine (BGE) until about 2.8 when it was removed during the big UI rework, mostly because it kind of sucked to use and was hard to update, but work has continued on a fork of the project called UPBGE

( actually it was added and removed one more time between the alpha and beta after the first try of adding it back resulted in game breaking bugs )

for some reason, the algorithm used for leaf decay in Minecraft has been tweaked endlessly since it was first implemented in Indev - It has been added, changed, changed again, changed again, broken, removed, added again, changed again, and changed one more time
