ZK is such an innocuous thing too. It doesn't become canon (though it WAS considered and fought for by multiple head writers). There is no NEED for all this except people LOOOVE to berate things that bring women harmless joy

I don't think that the mere baiting of ZK is so strong of a viewership predictor that they'd entirely omit crucial storybuilding of a romance arc between the two main romanced characters in the OG series. It's entirely possible, it's the OG endgame ofc, but rn I'm leaning towards no endgames

I also think ZK is better for marketing and the networks generally. Based on what we've seen, I think Nick wanted ZK the way they wanted Book 4. I think it would behoove the networks and since Netflix and (I believe) Paramount now have control over directives like that, I can see it as a possibility

The only thing I can think of would be the sheer absence of KA, regardless of ZK. Even them floating around the idea of making ZK happen would probably make BM run for the hills. They despise that ship SO bad lol.

That could be a possibility, but I feel like baiting at both would still generate more online crosstalk.

I also am at a loss at what could've been such a stark "creative difference" to make bryke leave the project they initially were co-making entirely based on what we've seen in Book 1
