The only silver lining: when Republicans inevitably vote down ACA subsidies, it’ll be clear who fought to protect Americans’ healthcare—and who didn’t. Democrats gave them the rope. Now we’ll see if the GOP uses it to finish the job.

The deal fully funds the VA, the Department of Agriculture, and—of course—Congress itself. Everyone else? Still left in limbo. The only thing this agreement rescues is Republican credibility, which was on life support after last week’s election losses.
