A couple months left this year, but here is my GOTY list so far + my “menu” of games left I would like to play before years end

I think it would be pretty good if Silksong got a big overview trailer tomorrow and they introduced some sort of armor/costume system and one of them was just this

Played a few hours of Drag x Drive this weekend. Still working through the controls and improving but having fun so far!

Had the goal to win a match with this card. I think they oughta just keep this art for the memories.

Had a good time with Ruffy and the Riverside this last weekend. Tons of fun puzzles built off a neat physics and chemistry system on top of a semi open world full of collectibles and good feeling 3D platforming movement. Bit of a slow start, but overall a really good time imo

Overall had a pretty good time with Welcome Tour! Got all 167 medals, mini games ranged from forgettable to high score grinding fun. The last medal was maybe the most annoying thing I have done in a game in a long time though. Got my time and fun from the game, still should have been packed in.

I finally played Undertale after a decade of not doing that. Excited to jump into Deltarune this week!

The last month without the Switch 2 and I ended up mainly playing my Switch lol. Sea of Stars DLC was really really good! Also started and am intrigued by both Elden Ring Nightreign (Fortnite Elden Ring)and Pippistrello and the Cursed Yo-Yo (indie Zelda like). Oh and I also beat Undertale finally!

My favorite Fire Emblem, favorite Switch game, favorite game ever, is Fire Emblem Three Houses. Hundreds of hours playing the game in every which way and loved the whole way through every time.

Runner up goes to the best Mario, a game where I couldn’t stop smiling while playing, Super Mario Odyssey. So many interesting ideas, feels incredible to run around, exploring each kingdom was special. Not only did Cappy bring the fun copy ability idea in, but also improved Mario’s platforming

Twas the night before Switchmas, starting the top 3 with Tears of the Kingdom. Despite the love I have for Breath of the Wild, part of me feels like it has been replaced by TOTK. Flying around this world was a dream, one of my favorite games ever made.

Had a busy March for games, but my favorite new releases were Spilled, Dark Deity II, and Xenoblade Chronicles X!

Probably my favorite multiplayer game ever, Smash Ultimate, gets the 4 spot. So many late night in the online arenas, but also so much to keep you occupied if you choose to play solo as well

Kicking off the top 5 we have one of the most important games Nintendo has ever made, Breath of the Wild. Proved to everyone, and themselves, they could still take over the gaming conversation with great games. Switch wouldn’t be what it was without this game and look where we are now

Just outside the top 5 we have Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Some really powerful moments thanks to the fantastic cast of characters really adding weight to the situations they find themselves in. Really felt the strong bonds between each of the protagonists and the supporting characters.
