The party reeks of serving focus groups, not real people—so out of touch. I'm a New Yorker who usually supports Schumer decisions even if reluctantly. But this time he's dead wrong on a huge issue. Maybe he really has outlived his usefulness.

I was alive when Moses was doing those things and everything I knew about him came from the Times. Then Greenwich Village told him You can't do that to Washington Square Park and Moses was over. Same w/ nyt opposition to Mamdani. They didn't even rank him in the primary. Voters spoke. Twice.

Sliwa is a true New Yorker. Him living anywhere else is unimaginable. I've never believed I could vote for a Republican but, w/ a gun to my head, forced to choose between Sliwa and Prince Andrew, i'd choose Sliwa in a NY minute.
