This Discord's brand new, and I don't have too many connections in the fields of anime studies or game studies (my own background being in academic philosophy) - but there doesn't seem to be a space like this out there online, and so I'd really like to help build that!

While this Discord aims to provide a place for undergraduates, graduates and academics in Anime/Manga/Games studies to discuss with each other, it's not exclusive to university students or academics and is open to anybody with an interest in reading or talking about this stuff on an academic level
