—for my 13th, my dad was able to borrow a 16mm print of "Hard Day's Night" that we ran at the party. Admittedly, that was less out of Beatles love—that classical bubble strikes again—& more that Dad was a film buff (me being one in training), but I grew to enjoy them more & more because of that. . .

Not surprising, sadly though, from a political strategy that wants to make government and anything it does seem so dysfunctional--so unable to help--that it dissuades folks from believing it can.
