You're not entirely correct either. The section you mentioned allows this broader arrest power ONLY "if the offense is committed in the officer's or employee's presence."

One of the 9 was returned. The other 8 are in US custody challenging their extradition. This information is in the article.

No, the mother of his children vaccinated herself and her children. She ignored him.

Sincere Qs have become the substitute for self-learning & informed discussion. Why would one expect to receive an explanation of the difference between authoritarianism & facism on social media rather than finding an academic source, grasping the difference & contributing to an informed discussion?

His context, if you watch the full video, is Black women. It's not just the 4 women he mentions. It doesn't make sense to believe that bc none of them are uneducated and unqualified, and none has said they got their job based on lowered standards for racial minorities (how he's defining DEI).
September 16, 2025 at 4:34 AM
So it's okay to disparage those 4 women as being unqualified & unintelligent when facts show otherwise,& Black women shouldn't assume they're included? None of the 4 women said they got their positions due to DEI, so who is the "they" in the last part of the statement.
September 16, 2025 at 4:24 AM
Is your frustration bc she didn't use correct notation in her quote? Yes, the correct notation is "[Black women]".... to show that where she is paraphrasing rather than naming each Black woman he mentioned. Is your position that only the Black women he mentioned were the focus of his disparagement?

In normal circumstances, yes. I suspect the stress of the unexpected arrest of his parent would have an emotional impact and it's not good to leave him alone after a traumatic event. Just like we don't have adults drive home, or sit home alone, when they've experienced trauma.

No one is denying you the right to not receive vaccinations; that's your decision to make. I believe parents making this decision for their children do believe they're protecting their children from harm. Their intentions are good; but they're deliberately misguided by MD/DO/PhD/RNs twisting facts.

As someone who works in healthcare, you're well aware that medical scientist create viruses to study them & create immunizations & treatments. That's not unusual. Nothing in this article suggests otherwise. Also, MMR & polio are not being released so that people get vaccinated.

Also, even with no deportation order, if you overstay your visa status period and later marry a US citizen, you can get a green card as long as your only violations are the overstay and unauthorized work. But now ICE is detaining and deporting this group also.
June 24, 2025 at 2:50 PM
No it doesn't. The immigration history is important. If there is a deportation order you can't just apply for a green card, you must first get the deportation order removed. This couple didn't go thru the steps correctly. Granted, even if they did, ICE may have still arrested her.
June 24, 2025 at 2:46 PM
Yes, it is "depressingly common," but people still believe the USA does not deport children because "immigration violations under age 18 are forgiven." The lack of knowledge of US immigration laws by everyday Americans is sad. 😕 😞

Pls look up the definition of entitlement rather than promoting the incorrect framing of anti-SS groups. SS IS an entitlement b/c it's an earned benefit to which those paying into it have a right. That's what entitlement means. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/e.... An entitlement isn't a gift.
Definition of ENTITLEMENT
the state or condition of being entitled : right; a right to benefits specified especially by law or contract; belief that one is deserving of or entitled to certain privileges… See the full definitio...

What's more puzzling is that you must include a copy of your green card with a citizenship filing. How did he miss that his expired in 2015, and he'd never filed an I-751? He literally is one of the illegal aliens he is said to disparage on FB.
May 23, 2025 at 6:32 AM
You and your wife likely remembered to file an I-751 before her conditional green card expired, and she was able to get a 10 yr green card. He didn't do that, ignored it for 9+ yrs, and then attached the expired green card to his citizenship application. He notified them of his illegal status.
May 23, 2025 at 6:28 AM
A citizenship application must include a copy of an unexpirrd green card. When he filed in 2024, how did he not notice his card expired in 2015 or 2016? Why submit an application that alerts DHS to your unlawful presence? He should have called an immigration lawyer.
May 23, 2025 at 6:22 AM
1/ He didn't follow every rule. He had a conditional green card w/ a 2 yr expiration date. He didn't apply to get a unconditional green card. He didn't file late and request the lateness be excused b/c of medical reasons. He did nothing for 10yrs.

The two things aren't mutually exclusive. Int'l students aren't preventing the govt from investing in US school & US citizen students. Why do you feel that the presence of int'l students hinders that? Many US corporations are headed by people who first came to the USA as int'l students.
