In 1964, the PLO was created—not by Palestinians, but by Egypt’s Nasser.

It wasn’t about freedom.

It was about preventing Palestinian nationalism from threatening Arab rulers.

Palestinians remained pawns.

Groups like the PFLP were deeply Marxist.

Leaders like Wadie Haddad were KGB assets.

Soviet support meant rifles and ideology—but not hospitals, not schools, not democracy.

Palestine became a proxy brand, not a homeland.

– Jordan massacred them in 1970 (Black September)
– Lebanon expelled the PLO in 1982
– Kuwait expelled 400,000 Palestinians after the Gulf War
