Transhumanism has a real Dorian Gray thing going on. Sure, their “biological age” remains young, but their actual, physical body ends up looking like Peter Thiel.

I keep coming back to 1 Cor 5 where Paul counsels the church to keep themselves pure and let God judge those on the outside. With the steady stream of stories of sexual abuse we see within the church, part of me wonders if it is impossible to both keep ourselves pure and referee the world.

There’s a sorcerer who is very much alive but uses a combination of Disguise Self, Charm Person, and their natural charisma to pass themselves off as undead and ascend to the aristocracy.

My civics teacher in high school (early 2000’s in Michigan) said he would wear a Canadian flag pin when traveling to Europe. I didn’t understand it at the time. I do now.

My favorite Wayne Gretzky stat is he and his brother Brent have 2,861 points between them, which the most in NHL history for a pair of brothers (a goal and an assist are both worth one point).
