We should not tolerate racist rhetoric driving culture war that benefits the power elite, the richest and most privileged of us, when we can work together through class struggle to promote social transformation that benefits all of us.

The Republicans are making claims about "illegal aliens on medicaid" because their ignorant white voting base laps it up. Again, undocumented people don't qualify for Medicaid. Never have. Can't get it. The Republican intent is literally to pit its white base against immigrants.

OK, so it's one thing to lie to cover your ass on cutting funding that benefits your base, but it's quite another to be an explicit white supremacist while doing it.

Oppressions that naturally invoke community, cooperation, commonality–our ability to recognize ourselves with others, through and in others–are regulated via the urge/demand to struggle alone. We’re encouraged to find strength and solace in isolation.
