Not easy to get to sleep tonight - have burnt the bridge of whatever career I had left and really don’t feel that my opinions are so extreme that that should have been necessary
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

To appease bankers Reeves says Thames Water should find ‘market-based solution’.

Not possible. It is a monopoly, no competition, no choice.

Since 1989 TW paid £10.4bn in dividends, £13.68bn interest payments. Rocketing bills, sewage in rivers.

We can't afford more of the same.

Nationalise water.

Stagecoach has slashed the no. 12 bus to just 1 per hour, without proper consultation. Residents in The Lonnen and surrounding streets, many of them elderly, have been left isolated and cut off.

This is unacceptable. Public transport is a lifeline, not a luxury.

You use the officials USGovt secure channels to hide communications from bad actors. You use Signal to hide communications from the USGovt.
As I explain here, security isn't even the biggest part of the Signal Scandal. This is to keep actions secret from the US government. It's how to do crimes, bribes and more. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/signa...

HSBC to hand new chief £15m remuneration deal.

CEO pay soars whilst average real pay for workers is at 2008 level, when bankers crashed the economy.

Govts tell workers wage rises are inflationary but that doesn't apply to exec pay, dividends, share buybacks.

Been reading through the Government's new Land Use Consultation. Here's the juiciest bits I've seen so far!

An excellent, bold proposal to spare 9% of England's least-productive land for nature & carbon - restoring peat bogs & regenerating woods - & changes to ag land use over a further 10% /1

I’ve just watched the Tory shadow business minister pretty much argue on Newsnight that they left the economy in a healthy state.

I have two words: Liz Truss.

You can see why social media wants to abandon fact checking.
