You refuse to give him "ANY" credit. Are we that absolutist? Do you disagree with his position on this bill? Do you recognize that one of the few legal avenues to resist this bill is what he's doing? Can you not disagree with him on some aspect and support him on another?

I had to look this up. For a vote like this, debate is limited. The minority leader is given a customary "minute" that is untimed. So by rule, he's the only one who can talk.

When you don't contact them, they get to legitimately claim that their constituents don't care about a given issue.
