The result was a surprise for me too especially given how Crawford is doing. When I read into it I learned they passed a law making it mandatory in 2016. Sucks given the issues with mandatory voter ID but makes sense

Do I think he'd run a third term if he could? Yes. But I doubt he would have the support internally or amongst voters. More likely to outright ban elections.
