I played part of this event when it released on my 2nd attempt to play this game
I love how each abyssal hunter seems to have something deeply wrong with them, and the mix of the horror of the Deep and the country being a destitute hell makes for a unique setting

Things get way less traumatic without gendo. I liked Robomi and Nick supporting Asuka and Shinji, but lowkey wish we had more of it

had a rewatch night with the rest of the funky bunch. peele is an insanely talented writer/producer, & seeing his neatly tied together, tiered writing and filming is a treat. a few scenes in this are so tragic it genuinely wrenches my heart. an exceptionally classic western horror.
