Nothing personal, Tim, but I’m glad it looks like your prediction streak is about to end

That Denver team scored 158 points in regulation against the Warriors — and lost.

Regardless of who happens to be in power right now, there’s a much wider social acceptance of people’s mental health issues and how we can help them — even if it’s just lending a sympathetic ear on social media

Valkyries are sort of like the We Believe Warriors. Such a pleasant surprise. Tons of enthusiasm from them and the fans. They won’t win a championship, but they’re certainly playing with the house’s money

If you have a pride of lions and a murder of crows, what’s a group of dildos called?

OK, WNBA refs. But besides that?

And one estimate showed the Valkyries — the newest team in the league — as the most valuable franchise. So it’s not like any new owners are facing insurmountable odds

Way up on the “ever” list might be the Sharks when they first made the playoffs and faced (and beat) the Red Wings. Place was deafening.

Maybe 2017 Warriors would have been the last one? (With Durant, before he wanted out and he and Klay got injured.)

Valkyries Plus/Minus, Tim. Go for it!
June 20, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Find a team or player you really like — or hate. Sports are usually more fun if you have a rooting interest. I love basketball but couldn’t get into the WNBA until the Bay Area got the Valkyries this year. They piqued my interest.

Is there a Valkyries Plus-Minus in our future?
May 22, 2025 at 5:06 AM
I didn’t take the person’s note that way. I took it as: Winning the first three titles was a huge accomplishment and 2022 was a surprising bonus. More than fans could have dreamed of, and that most of us aren’t fooling ourselves into a “championship or bust” mentality

Lasted a bunch of years in era before 3-pointers. Wanted to discourage hacking Wilt and other big guys. The intentional fouls made the game way too slow
May 14, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Sad, but happy they’re not risking further injury
May 13, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Love the show no matter what. Even when the Warriors lose. Sigh
May 13, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Celtics are a terrific team and I’m hoping the Tatum injury isn’t as bad as it looked, but I can’t see them winning a title without him. If you lose an elite talent, you’re screwed
May 13, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Jimmy Butler and a bunch of second-stringers beat the Twolves starters. Deja vu
May 7, 2025 at 4:18 AM
Don’t have one, do they?
May 7, 2025 at 4:08 AM
If Warriors make it past game 5, they’ll be OK. Several days off between games 5 and 6
May 7, 2025 at 3:15 AM
For the love of god, play Kuminga instead of him right now. Good player, awful slump
May 7, 2025 at 2:12 AM
And he’s only 22. Crazy if they give up on him
May 5, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Jordan had his flu game. This is Butler’s tailbone game
April 29, 2025 at 4:58 AM
Agreed. They called the timeout presumably so they could get the ball at half court. The challenge basically took that away.

It says “since 1966.” Nicklaus got it back then
