Like give us the political intrigue and show us his rise to power truly. I felt like that part was just lacking given how fast his character took control of things and we didn’t REALLY get to see how unstable the emperors could have been.

Like yes, shirtless fighters died gloriously and there were ooooohs and ahhhhhs, but it just felt less grand to me in comparison to the original. They could have made it longer and given us more to fully flesh it all out.
AND, this should have just been more focused on Denzel’s character.
