translate can accomplish in its current model. All this to say, the fact that I was able to communicate clearly and effectively with zero errors or confusion was kind of mind blowing. It brought me closer into a community that I would have had no or limited ability to interact with otherwise.

I realized it can actually be helpful is when I was in a French speaking community on Twitch. I used a neural net language translation tool called deepl. It's accuracy and ability to translate colloquialisms and turns of phrase into an equivalent in each language far exceeds anything Google [2/3]
