Human behavior and structure systems are the foundation to being better people and better players.
Use this to build out an identity. What makes you you, is what you identify and keep consistent. What you grow on is the things that you can experience and learn upon. Figure out what compromises you need to make in your current position and see how that may affect your external identity.

It is very easy to get caught up in the dream of esports, but you have to know your limits and to get an idea of the risks that come with the field. You don't have to consciously have it in your head every day, but knowing the drive of an individual allows you and them to become better as a person.

This is something I started working through on the later stages of my career, especially with young talent. Provoking them to ask why they want to compete, why the title, why the team. Its an extremely volatile career path, and a few have stepped away from having answered the question.

It MOBA at a low level, it's one tricking. Play 1-3 champs, reduce the amount of matchups you play and eventually you have an easier time developing macro.

In Valorant, it'd be playing the same agent on a consistent map or all maps, building setups and practicing around them consistently.
