in the same day i witnessed families unconstitutionally separated by ice, i also saw a monarch butterfly caterpillar for the first time. how can the world simultaneously hold so much pain and so much wonder?

went on craigslist for the first time in decades after leaving meta and losing access to marketplace. seeing that basic, old interface was surprisingly refreshing! it’s amazing that craigslist looks less spammy than facebook these days.

if you plant it they will come! i planted purple-stemmed angelica last fall. a few weeks ago i saw an indra swallowtail butterfly for the first time in my life! and now, i spotted three indra swallowtail caterpillars on it! #nativeplants

can’t explain it really, but this purple-stemmed angelica plant is giving off some good vibes. today i also learned that people used to mash it up and clean with it to ward off ghosts. #nativeplants
