Skipped the news and took some time away from all of it. I’m trying to find new hobbies other than screen related. Coloring was a nice break but this was little too intense for the ADHD brain. Maybe a kids coloring book instead!

We need to do unspeakable things to stop unspeakable things from happening, didn’t you know that. We must commit barbaric acts so that we can stop barbarism. We must do everything we accuse the other of doing, only worse. So that it gets better.

I am not usually a big fan of her work but this book cowritten by Jodi Picoult & Jennifer Finney Boyle did more to teach me about all of the nuanced & not so nuanced parts of trans identity. I considered myself progressive but I was actually ignorant. I recommend it.
