AI is the future of scamming. Not the utopian future we were promised.

Chat GPT is now going to allow monetizing porn; is this part of the f “greater good”

AI feels very much like when we were told “Facebook is going to make our lives better”.

Skipped the news and took some time away from all of it. I’m trying to find new hobbies other than screen related. Coloring was a nice break but this was little too intense for the ADHD brain. Maybe a kids coloring book instead!

Rural America. If you think you’re safe because you’re not in a big city, you’re wrong. My poor rural town is deep deep red. And they’re aiming weapons at the Citizens Here.

We need to do unspeakable things to stop unspeakable things from happening, didn’t you know that. We must commit barbaric acts so that we can stop barbarism. We must do everything we accuse the other of doing, only worse. So that it gets better.

One day everyone will always have been against this

I am not usually a big fan of her work but this book cowritten by Jodi Picoult & Jennifer Finney Boyle did more to teach me about all of the nuanced & not so nuanced parts of trans identity. I considered myself progressive but I was actually ignorant. I recommend it.

Went to get Ice Cream and we happened upon an abolish ICE protest. So we grabbed a sign and did our part for the last ten minutes of it.

My history teacher sister texted me this:

“Looking through some old workbooks and such. I found one from 1986 about immigration. Man, it was so much more nuanced than the discussion today”
And this cartoon is more, not less, relevant today.
