Mine does that, but he only does it when his food bowl is empty. Or slightly empty. He also waves his paw under the door and meows. I haven’t been able to decide if it’s cute or infuriating.

I would say that some level of intent or design has to be there. Movies can have scary scenes without the overall idea or feeling of the movie being scary. I agree that things can be horror adjacent as well. The Monster Squad is a great movie, but I would never call it horror. It’s a kids movie.
