Today I received a deeply thoughtful card from a graduate of the law school where I work. He & I are long-time mental health buddies. I had to choke back tears at his kind gesture. He even included a Polaroid of him & his fiance, both beaming.
Man am I grateful for connections. 🧡

Self-care selfie. I’ve never thought my appearance was all that memorable and my skin is a hot mess (trust me) but I’ll tell you what… I sure love having curly hair. I had no idea it was like that until I grew it out in my late 20s. What a fun surprise! Now I’ll never go back.
