Had a great time at the Lord Huron concert in the AB yesterday.

I don't suppose I'm a very spiritual person, but this stretch of beach is one of a few places that I have a strong bond with. For me, there's a sense of place and time and emotion in each of those pebbles.
It's a place where I still feel connected to my grandfather and what it meant to him.

Survived day one of Académie de l'Espée 3 day event in Brugge. I also had the massive pleasure of reuniting with my first rapier instructor - the massively knowledgeable Filip Bonte (who was a lot more happy to see me than he looks in this picture).
It's been great so far. Looking forward to day 2!

It felt like ages since I've been to a concert (though it has probably only been a month or two), so I really enjoyed Seba Safe and the Bones of JR Jones. (Both brilliant, btw!)
The Rotonde in the Botanique in Brussels is one of my favourite cosy places for concerts.
