Regardless of which server your profile is on, you can access content from any server. There are already multiple client apps on both Android and iOS.

Lemmy is intended to be more of a decentralized version of Reddit, it operates on the activity pub/fediverse protocols (same as Mastadon). Allows people to roll their own servers, and profiles can be transferred between servers if the server you are on starts acting wrong.

I haven't been over to the new Digg but this also shocks me. If you even know what the fuck Digg is you should know how it works...

That said, I'm still trying to get people over to Lemmy because I don't have high hopes for the new Digg.
