What does a two year old birthday boy who doesn’t like cake get for their second birthday…? Cookie tower of course! 48 peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and one giant cookie pie as the base! What he doesn’t know is it’s 1/2 the normal sugar content, can for size comparison.

Baguette style artisan bread. Structure is just a little tight, but otherwise it turned out beautifully. The 6 year old gives it, “60 thousand thumbs up”, so I’d say it’s pretty good 😊

Baking Season continued. Today is a cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Clove Raisin Soda bread. Personal note to increase temperature a little. It to firm up the crust just a tad. Soft as a cloud, good air pockets, flavor is great, the spices are there but mild, not very sweet, until you hit a raisin.
