I've not played Halo Wars 2 yet, but I picked it up the other day; one of the playable leaders is Colony, a pair of Mgalekgolo who were somehow elevated to a position of leadership within the Banished. I'm curious to see if any of that aspect of them comes through in the voice lines or gameplay

almost everything that's known about the (Mga) lekgolo comes from the books iirc. They're actually one of the most intellectually and philosophically developed races in Halo, maybe surpassing even humans lmao

People conflate their interests with their personality too often, and that's part of what causes this behaviour. Any attack on the object of their interest is an attack on their sense of self according to them and they feel like they need to defend [themselves / the avatar of their personality]
