It’s a good example of something that is technically accomplished but the vibe is completely off. It’s like the work of photographers that know every technical aspect of the art but none of the photos are interesting. I stopped playing mainline Mario games after it.

I’m like this too. I don’t know what it is but there is something discomforting about it for me. Historically when a guy I’m chatting with sends me a pic in a cage I haven’t replied because I lack the social skills to know what to do in that situation.
