Energy production from my 2.2kW PV system was a thing of beauty today. Near flawless and over 10kWh for beginning of March is excellent.
In two days of blue skies my PV has already produced 1/4 the energy of the whole of a grey and wet February.

2024 was a year I had a lot of trouble with my eyes - hopefully now under control (although I will likely be on antiviral forevermore).

Today my new Sapphire RX 7700XT Frostpunk2 arrived. It's gorgeous. Barely fits in my luggable case, but matches the theme perfectly.
It also makes the 1080Ti it's replacing look like a toy.

Sometimes I forget how damn pretty the vinyl experience can be - both the physical record itself and the art work of the sleeve.

Rescued my old Kenwood amp and my Ion record deck from the youngest's bedroom as they don't use it.
I love the convenience of having hundreds of hours of music available on my phone, but the tactile, ceremonial nature of picking a record, moving and lowering the needle... Just lovely.

So, today I had a lump removed from my 'good' eye, which is a hang-over from when it was my bad eye because it had an infected sty. So, now my 'bad' eye is my 'good' eye for a few days because I still have shingles in that eye and everything is blurry...
Hope that's clear? (pun intended)

Nearly 3 weeks of pain and misery and now (hopefully) correct diagnosis and treatment is going to sort it out. Phew.

I got my antiviral meds and my steroid drops. After just 24hrs my eye is already improving.

I should point out that I'm actually awaiting minor surgery on what is currently my 'good' eye, so what little vision I have is blurry and headache inducing...
