Hubby plays FR and sometimes I play with the scrying workshop. Recently wanted to make some equine OCs so this Kirin breed came at a good time lol

Anyway the unicorn gal above is based on this design.
A Flight Rising dragon of Cirrus breed. They are basically Kirin. She has a marbled pattern on her pale green coat, and purple and scarlet flowers in her gray mane and tail. Her eyes are glowing pink.

Progress pics from a picnic scene in gouache.
A bare sketch of a picnic scene by a riverside in sketch & wash pencil. There are five trees in the background and one overshadowing the hill in the foreground. A small, walled cobblestone path wraps around the hill's right side The same scene, now I've added ochre watercolor crayon and given it a wash. This was an experiment in underpainting. The same scene, but in full color in gouache paint. I've filled out the stones in the path and added stripes to the picnic blanket. But where are the people? The finished scene, with my husband and I sitting on the picnic blanket.

A close-up of practice doodles at the bottom of the page. They're done with a graphite sketch underneath neon acrylic paint and ended up with an neat high-contrast look. It's three different parts of facial features. A tiny gouache painting in progress of myself half-sunk in water. I attempted to use only primary colors and mostly succeeded so far. :P
