I get treated so much more kindly since I started using a cane and mobility scooters. People hold doors for me more, offer to help me get things while shopping, even offer to unload my groceries. It's surprisingly refreshing.

Those are so pretty!!

I spent hours crocheting cotton washcloths 8 or so years ago. Now I'm relearning how to knit. Not a coincidence.

Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) appears to be where we need to focus, btw. The government jargon on their website is a little hard to get through, but not impossible.
